7,175 men grope porn stars’ breasts for AIDS awareness

The annual AIDS awareness charity event 24-Hour TV: Eroticism Saves the Earth was held over the weekend, complete with its televised antics and its now frankly traditional Shinjuku porn star breast groping event. All in a good cause, we’ll have you know!

Leading up to the event there was even an online fund-raising campaign. Love is Patience challenged you not to look at hot Japanese girls while they did “sexy” stuff. The longer you held out, the more money raised for charity.

This year’s event at the Shinjuku venue attracted 7,175 people — the highest ever and around 1,000 more than last year. In other words, over 7,000 men (there may have been some women too) lined up patiently for a few seconds of publicly groping porn stars’ breasts!

But before we start throwing out aspersions that all Japanese men are perverts — not that we think wanting to touch an adult video star’s chest is perverse by any means — apparently up to “50%” of the visitors were non-Japanese. Well, from the pictures we saw, that seems a massive exaggeration but that people think that shows just how famous this “Boob Aid” event has now become.

The ladies who exposed their breasts for the thousands to touch included Yukina Matsura, Arisa Seina, Yuka Kawami, Hinano Ayami, Yui Serina, Kana Suzuna, and Izumi Asato.
