Former AKB48 idol Nana Owada goes semi-nude for debut photo book
Curvy (well, comparatively curvy) former AKB48 idol Nana Owada will release her debut photo book and it includes a semi-nude cover with a “hand bra” (tebura) shot.
This kind of shot, where the lady covers her breasts with her hands and reveals plenty of side boob, has become a standard trope in semi-nude idol photo shoots.
Past examples from the AKB stables alone include Minami Minegishi, Ayaka Umeda, Atsuko Maeda, Rina Hirata, Haruna Kojima, Yuko Oshima, and — most controversially — Tomomi Kasai, whose tebura effectively ended her career.
As Maho Yamaguchi is demonstrating, there is life after AKB or its sister groups — even if you leave the group under a cloud of scandal.
Anticipation is high for Owada’s photo book, “Risutaato” (Restart), as she has already posed for some nice shoots that show off her voluptuous body. The 19-year-old Owada (aka Naanya) joined AKB48 in 2013 and graduated in 2017.
Though only a couple of alternate cover shots have appeared as a preview so far, “Risutaato” comes out in mid-September and we look forward to seeing what’s inside.
