Watch an interview with the wife of top Japanese porn star Shimiken

We recently shared the surprisingly sensitive and insightful interview by Nobita with porn star Roku Kuroi.

Here is one that Nobita did with the wife of Shimiken.

As regular readers will know, Shimiken is the most prolific and hard-working male adult video performer in Japan. There are actually only a handful of such male stars in the industry and his services are called upon daily for shoots with the biggest and best ladies in AV.

He married Haruka Ito in 2019, as we reported at the time (it is, we should note, a common-law marriage). Writer and blogger Haruka Ito (aka Hachu) is a kind of celebrity in her own right as someone who exposed harassment at Dentsu, the biggest advertising agent in Japan. She and Shimiken now have a child, born in September last year.

In her interview with Nobita, which has English subtitles, she discusses how she first heard about Shimiken and met him through social media, the fact that she liked Shimiken’s short stature and his habit of telling dirty jokes, and her hopes of raising awareness in Japan of other types of marriage (like common-law marriage).

Of course, the big question for someone like Hachu is how she can handle the situation whereby her husband’s job is having sex with other women. She is frank about this, too, confessing it took her two years to cope with it mentally and she would wake up in the middle of the night crying.
