Luna×Holic idol Yuki Miura sacked from group after launching porn career
The singer Yuki Miura (三浦由希) has been fired from the four-member Japanese idol group Luna×Holic after it emerged she was moonlighting as a porn star.
Miura’s porn debut comes out today, January 25, in Japan. The 60-minute limited edition (SBMO01226) is followed by another 60-minute release (SBMO01208) in late February. The releases, which have swimwear and schoolgirl themes, clearly emphasize the young idol’s busty assets.
(To clarify what wasn’t clear when we first published this post: these are fully nude videos but don’t seem to feature hardcore/on-screen sex.)
A statement issued by the group on January 21 said that Miura, known in the group has Nano-chan, was no longer a member as of that day, following the discovery of infringements of the rules against “betraying” fans and other members.
Since Miura is appearing in these porn releases under her regular name, it wasn’t like she was trying to hide her side career. Perhaps she hoped such activities would be permissible under her contract.
After all, the group didn’t seem to have an issue with her gravure image video releases, including at least one in October last year that featured nudity.
The idol group launched in 2020 as lunatic (Kari), assuming its current name in January 2021. Now with the sudden loss of a quarter of its membership, it may have to disband or rebrand yet again.

Well, nude gravure would still count as pornography. Preview images are a bit limited, so we’ll try to confirm later if there’s other performers and actual hardcore sex.

It makes me snort laugh whenever I see idol group managements morally brownbeat girls like her for “betraying fans” when moonlighting in the sex industry is one of the most open secrets in the idol industry. The only ones who get chewed out are the ones who get caught. If anything its a searing indictment of the industry as a whole that girls get paid so low, that they are pretty much forced to do this just to stay alive. Miura might just benefit from this change financially. I mean just look at Yua Mikami: That girl sure as hell earns more than any past, present and future member of her original idol group.

This is already discussed a bit above. It’s unclear if the currently announced two new releases have hardcore sex, but there’s certainly nudity. Strictly speaking, chakuero is clothed (that’s the “chaku” part), albeit barely. Gravure image videos are often a kind of chakuero.
Her “idol” group is basically a borderline 18+ group doing live shows in front of old ojisans (hoping to get a glimpse of pantsu). Most of their contents are already nsfw anyways. So this is “modelling” thing probably a step up
