How much did actress Yoko Kamon really get for her 2013 porn debut?
How much do porn stars earn? It’s a gray area, though JAV is a huge industry and clearly the main stars do well for themselves.
There are often rumors about exceptional fees when high-profile women from other industries make the crossover into porn. Some of these are no doubt are just conjecture.
Back in 2013, the actress Yoko Kamon made her porn debut after a career of acting in the 1990s and then hair nude full-frontal shoots (not one but two nude photo books) in the early 2010s.
Then in her early thirties, Kamon was not a huge star but there was a fair amount of interest in her adult video debut, perhaps mainly because it seemed a natural progression from her nude shoots and willingness to do nude sex scenes in movies.
Her debut, Deai (Encounter), was released by Muteki, which specializes in such crossover debuts.
Now in her early forties and a very finely aged jukujo wine, Kamon has now returned to mainstream acting.
She recently gave an interview to the YouTube channel of Shoko Idea, a writer known for her sexually explicit books who is now (somewhat bizarrely) a Buddhist nun.
She addressed the rumors that she had got the incredible (and very unlikely) fee of ¥100 million (almost $900,000) for her debut.
Of course, it’s not true, though the fee that Kamon did collect is still pretty impressive. She shares that she actually got ¥10 million (about $90,000), which is not bad for taking part in a foursome.
It is also claimed that her “adult video” debut was not quite what it seems: that there was no penetration and that even the blowjobs she gave were done using prosthetics.
This makes the ¥10 million fee even more impressive.
