Hina Kikuchi’s latest photo book is a bestseller

Hina Kikuchi was the joint winner at Weekly Playboy’s Gravure Japan Awards 2024 announced in December, and it’s clear that the public is lapping her up as well.

The 20-year-old’s highly anticipated third photo book, memory, is a hit, selling 50,000 copies across physical and digital editions since March 19.

As the weather warms up in Japan, fans are clearly connecting with the photo book’s summery theme.

Since she’s still only 20 years old, we suspect Hina Kikuchi — with her slinky body and pale skin — has a long and fruitful gravure career ahead of her.

She got her break as a junior idol in 2020, when she was crowned Miss Magazine. She has enjoyed numerous cover shoots for major gravure magazines in recent years.

She released her first photo book very quickly, in October 2021. This was followed by yet another in early 2023. It’s quite incredible that she has already put out three photo books, all by major publishers (Kodansha and Shueisha), not to mention countless digital photo books.

As an actor, Kikuchi has appeared in adaptations of Wing-Man and Oshi no Ko. In terms of non-gravure modeling, she is currently a regular model for the fashion and lifestyle magazine non-no.
