New adult video by ex-NMB48 Miko Matsuda is porn parody of former NGT48 Maho Yamaguchi sexual assault incident
The latest porn release (HND00655) by former NMB48 idol Miko Matsuda (originally known as Risako Okada) is an apparently shameless parody of the Maho Yamaguchi incident.
As was later widely reported, Yamaguchi was sexually assaulted by two fans in December 2018 after her address was inadvertently given to the stalkers by another member of the group. Exposing the exploitative conditions under which idols labor, the management did not acknowledge what had happened until Yamaguchi herself went public. “Mahohon,” as she is popular known, first had to issue an apology for the “trouble” she caused, though later quit and the group management was restructured. It ignited a media storm both in Japan and internationally, and was one of the biggest scandals to hit the AKB/AKS empire since Minami Minegishi shaved her head to atone for the crime of having sex.
Making her adult debut in 2017 and just one of several former AKB group idols who has gone on to work in AV, Miko Matsuda’s new porn came out from Honnaka in late April.
Many were quick to point out the similarities to the scenario it depicts with the Maho Yamaguchi incident.
The parody in and of itself is not so surprising, given that Japanese porn has a rich tradition of lampoon. But that Matsuda would agree to appear in such a setting is a little unexpected, considering you might think she would be very sympathetic to what happened to Yamaguchi rather than keen to exploit it for commercial gain.
Or are we missing a further layer of irony to this?
