Anime character “breast stamp rally” has Valkyrie Drive Mermaid fans salivating
In Japan, there are often “stamp rallies” at train stations or other places. These marketing campaigns encourage people to come to the location and collect stamps from certain spots. This means you have to visit several places, increasing foot traffic at malls, stations, and so on.
Usually they are innocuous promos for kids. But not always.
A stamp rally for the anime series Valkyrie Drive Mermaid has adopted a novel approach: you “stamp” your picture of a female anime character with breasts.
Remember, the Valkyrie Drive franchise is so popular it even became a sex doll recently.
Even the rubber stamps are boob-shaped, modeled on the anime characters themselves. The making-of process was a precise and expert one.
Fans get to hunt down the right boob stamp for their favorite lady. With the stamp, you get to three-dimensionally boost the 2D chest of modestly busted Mamori Tokonome, the blossoming Charlotte Scherzen, the more shapely Mirei Shikishima, or the totally flat-chested Meifon Sakura.
The “boob rally” is being held at six stores in Akihabara until December 6th to celebrate the DVD release of Valkyrie Drive Mermaid.
