Artist uses Tenga Cup to make customized sneakers, bear bells, and more
You’ve perhaps heard about the Tenga Pocket Hat. Maybe you got the Tenga iPhone case.
But what about Tenga shoes? Yes, that’s what self-professed performer Bokunou (ぼく脳, literally “my brain”) has crafted, using the insides of a Tenga toy — the inner coating that provides such awesome stimulation on your cock — as unique decoration for the midsoles on a customized pair of sneakers.
The sneakers are a simple gray and white, with “TENGA” written in red. It’s not clear which Tenga toy he used as the material for the footwear, but the white color suggests it came from several Tenga Cups.
Bokunou put photos of his creations on Twitter and the posts soon went viral, attracting over 100,000 likes.
Bokunou recently appeared over the Christmas weekend at Shinjuku Ganka Gallery, with a Tenga-themed art pop-up store, including the Tenga sneakers and also such novel pieces as a Tenga alarm clock, toothbrush, and comb contraption, and a Tenga Cup shovel. The gallery, which is known for art subculture events, posted some great images and a video on Instagram of the exhibits, which included a Tenga-themed T-shirt and steampunk leather jacket.
Climbing holds? A marionette? A mirror? A seesaw? Yep, all of these can be made with a Tenga!
Perhaps the most genuinely useful item is a Tenga Cup converted into a bell to ward off bears when hiking. So you can release yourself if you get horny in the mountains, while also staying safe. Bokunou put a video of the bear bell on his Instagram.
If you wondering how this works with copyright, rest assured that Tenga was involved in this collaboration and gave Bokunou permission to make and sell the pieces (it seems only the T-shirt and stickers were for sale), and promoted the even on its own social media.
