/ Tadashi Anahori
Next month if you are in Tokyo you should check out this awesome collection of cosplay images by photographer Yuji Susaki.
The sexy and sensual images showcase Susaki's fifteen years of work investigating the curious mixture of the erotic and the dress-up that is cosplay.
“COSPLAY made in Japan” is showing at Emon Photo Gallery August 24 to September 14, 2013.
And if you think you recognize some of the sexy ladies in the pictures, you're not imagining things. Susaki uses idols and models rather than "amateur" cosplayers, including Mizuho Hata, Ai Amano, Chiaki Kyan, ...
Save your phone battery by flipping a girl’s skirt
July 19, 2013
/ Tadashi Anahori
For guys who use their phones a lot and need a way to save battery power -- and who like to look up girl's skirts -- this is the app for you.
The Skirt-Rolling-Up, Battery-Extending Magic Girl Sakura Android app uses the powers of a cute moe girl's panties to clear your phone memory, save power and uninstall other apps that hog memory.
Use your finger to "flip" the girl's skirt and show her panties. This is how the app is then activated to improve your battery space. Be sure to pull her skirt back down, though, or it doesn't work. In this way you can wipe a few megabits of ...
Boyband Arashi billboard inspires female worship, oral sex in Shinjuku Station
July 15, 2013
/ Tadashi Anahori
If you thought AKB48 fans were bad enough, boybands like Arashi and KAT-TUN have plenty of local (and foreign) fanatics among their following who will do all kinds of embarrassing things to show their love for the pampered soshoku danshi.
A billboard currently on display in an underground passage of Shinjuku has generated some particularly queasy sights as girls (but not only girls?) gather to worship the image of the five singers.
The posters are changing daily, with six versions showing the beautiful boys posing in different weathers.
Girls have been seen gathering en ...
Osaka tax official arrested for setting up fake chikan train groping
July 15, 2013

Back in May we reported on the incredible story -- actually one of the most intriguing things we have ever heard -- of a chikan incident on a Wakayama train in which a woman was groped by two men who believed that the woman had asked them to do it via an online forum.
In fact, she had done no such thing and they had been set up. Her protests were more realistic than the two men expected and one got off the train. When the other man also attempted to leave at the end of the line, he was grabbed by the victim and arrested.
The 26-year-old from Osaka protested his innocence and the police soon ...
Top Osaka cop was serial train groper: “unforgettably soft”
July 11, 2013
/ Tadashi Anahori
Another day, another chikan story.
To grope one girl is risque. To grope two girls is rather cheeky. But to grope thirty, well, that's just getting carried away.
Or not, especially when it's a cop and he gets caught -- then it's just unprofessional in the literal sense of the word.
On a train in Kyoto a 38-year-old Osaka head patrol officer was recently grabbed with his hands where they shouldn't have been -- on the body of an office lady.
He offered the excuse for his serial train chikan groping that the ladies in question were simply too "unforgettably soft". He has been ...
Imagine you are out for a night of fun at a Tokyo strip club. Your eyes are naturally scanning the unbelievably hot girls on the stage.
Then you catch sight of two ladies in the audience who look familiar. Hey, aren't they famous models? When a friend or companion assures you they are, you can then hardly believe your eyes when the following happens. She climbs onto a stage and start to do a pole dance.
That's what happened one night an established strip club, where the models Kiko Mizuhara (22) and Eimi Kuroda (25) were in the audience. But things took a turn for the unexpected when ...
Groper vigilante idol group member leads campaign against chikan

You gotta admire the guts of Miyabi Asai, the member of the Kawasaki City local idol group Kawasaki Junjo Komachi whose friend was groped on a train -- known as chikan -- but then grabbed the culprit and held onto him.
This has made her a bit of a star, thus doing more than even her idol group's activities ever did to raise Kawasaki's profile.
One night on the Odakyu Line at the end of June, her 17-year-old friend was groped by a man (38). With Asai's help they held onto the guy and gave him up to station staff at the next station.
The next day traffic to the idol group's website went ...
Same sex “kiss friends” alleged to be popular Japanese schools
July 7, 2013
/ Megumi
The discovery of one picture on the Internet has led to speculation that now Japanese schools are brimming with boys and girls who kiss each other for fun.
Well, that of course sounds like a perfectly ordinary school activity.
But the "school rule" is that you can only kiss members of the same sex.
The picture, which seems to be the sole source of the discussion, apparently summarizes the rules and the experiences of some kids with "kiss friends" -- but where it came from is anyone's guess. Is it from a magazine?
Personally we think this is total crap, and the surprised or ...
Ashley Madison, the infidelity social networking site, launches in Japan
July 4, 2013
/ Megumi
Life is short. Have an affair.
So says the slogan Ashley Madison, the infamous social media for adultery, which has 1.8 million unique users.
It started in Canada in 2001 and now has finally come to Japan.
It works by users purchasing credits, which they can use to send mails to potential partners, so in some ways on the surface is not dissimilar to regular dating sites. But this is totally up-front that the people using the site are cheating on their real partners.
Women can join for free (yay!) and there is a translation tool if you're interested in looking for a foreign ...
After making tentative moves at the end of last year, US gaijin tarento and Gravure model Leah Dizon has at last fully begun her comeback in Japan.
She appeared for the first time professionally in public in Tokyo at an event for a men's cosmetic brand since leaving the country three years ago.
“Long time no see, Japan!” she said in broken Japanese and confessed to being nervous. In the interim of being away, not surprisingly, her language skills have not improved and she needed an interpreter at the event.
Dizon is still only 26 but has been through a bit of a whirlwind. ...
