Dal Shabet’s new song “Joker” declared too sexy by Korean TV, banned from broadcast
We know that Korean pop idols are way sexier than their Japanese counterparts.
They think little of grinding their bodies in ways that are more than just a little suggestive.
Sometimes it goes too far, as KARA have found out.
Dal Shabet release their new mini-album “Joker Is Alive”, and with it, the music video for the title track, “joker”.
Unfortunately, the broadcaster KBS has judged the song to be too sexy and banned it.
Actually, it’s not the footage itself that’s the problem — though take a look below and you’ll be raising your eyebrows at the groin thrusting and legs on display.
Apparently it’s the lyrics that are too erotic for broadcast. The word “joker”, repeated frequently in the song, sounds like an “inappropriate” word.
Other offending lyrics included “Joker I want it / It’s getting hard to breathe / Baby goodnight.”
Talk about missing the wood for the trees!

They are wimmps! It is sexy and it’s great!
Calling this “too” sexy is extremely retarded!!
In the article is said that Korean girls are way more sexier than the Japanese counterparts.
Well, first of all, that differs from person to person’s liking.
One thing is for sure, in Japan, also on broadcasts,
they are NOT that prude!!
@Chris
We love Japanese pop idols but we generally find the presentation of Korean pop idols to be more overtly sexy, and in an adult and sophisticated way. Compare AKB48 with KARA, for example.
Dear Tadashi Anahori,
“in an adult and sophisticated way.” I suppose you mean that it’s like that to the “youngest” fans of Dalshabets? I can understand that, here in the western world (esp. USA video clips) are more explicit, like for example, Madonna, Rihana, etc.
I know AKB48, I am a huge fanatical fan of Yuki Kashiwagi (Yukirin) ^_^ and all the other 48 girl groups, also I like Yi Jiaai. Though I have to stay at the background, if you know what I mean, due of my age. If I would live in Japan or China, my place would not between the public, only on the internet, Google+, etc, because I am 65 years old. But after all, what is wrong that a man of my age is so a huge fan of Yuki and others? I hope I’m not judged negative for it, because I stay modestly in the shadow (on internet)
Best regards,
Chris.
@Chris
There’s nothing wrong with being a fan of nice ladies, whatever your age!
