Ex-AKB48 idol Nana Owada strips nude for new photo book in Hawaii
As former NGT8 idol’s Maho Yamaguchi cements her recovery from the mistreatment she received at the hands of the group’s management with her debut photo book, another ex-AKB group lady is determined to make her mark after graduating.
Previously a member of AKB48 from 2013 to 2017, Nana Owada releases her first photo book, Risutaato (Restart), which came out on September 15 amid a reasonable flush of publicity.
As we reported in August, Nana has chosen the semi-nude style of shoot to make a splash, including the classic tebura “hand bra” shot. In fact, though, the first leaked photos from the book, which was shot in Hawaii, show that Nana is even more nude than expected. This is almost as nude as you can get without showing actual muff or nipples.
We suspect there was some careful post-production touching-up (ha ha, not like that), where some lucky photo editors had to remove the nipples and other signs of genitalia. After all, we reckon you can’t do a shoot like this in a pool without at least a flash of something appearing in the final image.
Nana Owada is surprisingly curvy for this type of idol — attracting praise as the “new Sayaka Isoyama,” though we personally think that former AKB48 idol Rina Hirata deserves that title.
Regardless of who gets the crown, the good news is that Nana is a mere 20 years — and has now come of age, legally and professionally — and hopefully with many more such busy years ahead of her.
Ex-NMB48 idol Miyuki Watanabe and ex-AKB48 idol Ayaka Umeda did something a little similar with their photo books, but Nana wins the contest for us — at least for now.
