Former Fairies music idol Rikako Inoue to make porn debut as Yotsuha Kominato
Rikako Inoue (井上理香子), a former member of the now-defunct idol group Fairies, is to make her porn debut as Yotsuha Kominato (小湊よつ葉).
Fairies disbanded in 2020, after which Inoue (who was a member of the group throughout its roughly nine-year run) nominally retired from the entertainment industry and became a company employee for two years.
However, the 25-year-old officially adopted the name Yotsuha Kominato in March this year and returned to gravure with a shoot for Weekly Playboy and tie-in 57-page photo book.
This month, she released the music video for a solo song, accompanied by the announcement that she is also making her first porn production. In fact, the video ends with a caption on the screen announcing the next stage of her career.
So it seems the Nagasaki native is shooting on all cylinders, making a new go of things as a gradol, adult video idol, and singer. (It’s not so rare for a porn performer to also work simultaneously as a music idol. Other examples include Ebisu Muscats, which included Yuma Asami and numerous other JAV stars in its roster, and the follow-up group Ebisu★Muscats, plus Honey Popcorn.)
Details about the AV debut, such as the production company and release date, are not forthcoming, but Kominato has certainly found a novel way to publicize her move.

There are quite a few ex-newscasters who have done AV, but most were working for local/regional broadcasters and were not famous.
I enjoy porn/AV as much as the next guy, but at the same time, whenever I see stories like this I always get kind of an uneasy feeling. It seems all too common how many former idols of disbanded or lesser known groups get seemingly funneled into JAV business. It really just makes you wonder how the girls are probably coerced into it with promises of money.
