Which female Japanese celebrities love going to host clubs?
We know that rich Japanese politicians, businessmen and celebrities have a penchant for hostesses.
But feminism happened, don’t you know. It’s not just the men having all the fun.
According to the tabloids, there are plenty of prominent female celebrities who are addicted to male hosts, a habit which costs them dearly.
Josei 7 magazine recently published a report claiming that actress Yoko Maki had once spent ¥20 million in a single night at a host club!
The 33-year-old divorcee, known for her stunning breasts, clearly liked the services she was given.
Maki’s not alone. Rie Kuwabata apparently became obsessed with paying for dates with hosts in 2009, around the time she got married.
The 62-year-old Naoko Ken was snapped on a date with a host from Host Club X in 2007. She then apparently stalked another host in 2008.
Other patrons of hosts’ services include Naoko Iijima (48), who dated a top Kabukicho host 13 years her junior for 2 years. She may be a jukujo now — which is nice too — but Naoko was a real hottie in her time.
The actress Hitomi Kuroki (55) once spent some hours at a host club with her co-performers Gamon Kaai and Jin Shirosaki, who is a former host. They apparently drained 10 bottles of luxury champagne, which must have set them back a bit.
It’s not just the older women looking for toy boys either, as the example of Yoko Maki shows. After all, Yoko Maki is so beautiful she could have any man buy her dinner. Former Morning Museum idol Maki Goto also used to visit Kabukicho host clubs with her mother.
Finally, celebrity author and fortune-teller Kazuko Hosoki once confessed to having spent ¥8-9 million in a single night at her favorite host club!
