Gravure idol Yuno Ohara gets us ready for 2022 soccer World Cup
To get us ready for the upcoming FIFA World Cup, which kicks off in Qatar on November 21, the lovely Yuno Ohara has dressed up in the Japanese soccer team’s kit.
The 23-year-old gravure idol poses in a soccer cosplay costume for a shoot included in the current issue of weekly magazine Spirits. And if soccer isn’t your thing, rest assured that the shoot also included more conventionally sexy lingerie pics.
There are hopes that Japan’s Samurai Blue national team, which has its first match (against Germany) on November 23, can repeat its performance from 2018, when it reached the knockout stage (last 16). That said, most of the best Japanese players now no longer play on home turf, resulting in a kind of distance from the local fans. Moreover, this time, Japan’s group includes Germany and Spain — both strong teams.
Major sports events are also, let’s be honest, a good pick-up opportunity. Bars and pubs around Japan show matches and people go in large groups to watch. Soccer, especially at the international level, is not a solely male affair at all, and you can find plenty of ladies drinking and keen to chat and be merry. (Heck, perhaps even Yuno Ohara will be among the crowds!) And if Japan wins, the female fans will surely be in the right mood to celebrate.
