Aki Hoshino’s waist is exciting message boards instead of just… exciting
The folks over at Pop up have brought some internet grumblings to light about Hoshino Aki and her unusual body shape.
This is not the first time they have gone after one of my favorite gravure idols of all time. Just after the beginning of the new year they put out a report about how frighteningly skinny she is. This time, they have gone after her strangely shaped waist, especially when she takes one of her famous body bending poses.
In a recent photo shoot, the pose brought about a slew of comments among message board dwellers everywhere. Such comments as [This is too scary] [Does she have any innards?] [She looks like a deflated ball] and [Dhalsim? (Street Fighter 2 reference)]. The rumor mill has also turned out a story that she may have even had surgery to remove several ribs to appear even thinner. Of course this is only a rumor and the truth is unknown.
The story closes with a question to the publishers as to why they even still use Miss Hoshino. I can think of two pretty big reasons myself, but I’m biased.
