Japanese-American haafu ex-AKB48 idol Rina Hirata poses semi-nude for new gravure release

The former AKB48 idol and now gravure model Rina Hirata (平田梨奈) releases her first DVD and Blu-ray, “Hirari Time,” on July 20th. To promote it, Rina has posed semi-nude, covering her F-cup breasts with her hands.

The 21-year-old joined AKB48 in 2011 and graduated in 2016. She previously released two VR videos in February of this year, in one of which she was shown in alluringly red lingerie amply showing off her butt. It was enthusiastically compared to porn.

By AKB standards, Hirata has a curvier-than-average body and boy, are we not complaining about that. We have noticed, though, that the marketing now says she is an F-cup, whereas before she was meant to be a G-cup.

She’s also unusual in that she’s a haafu — kinda. Her mother is Japanese and her Japanese-American dad is from Arizona. She was born in America and grew up in Fukuoka, but initially her English was stronger than her Japanese when she first came to these shores. And we are eternally grateful to her for sticking through those tough times and becoming an idol.
