Japan’s female volleyball sports players are too hot to watch the game

With the exception of some tennis players, women in sports get a bad rap.

And in Japan, most of the famous women involved with sports tend to fall on the burly side of the equation, especially the wrestlers.

Even Nadeshiko Japan, the much-publicized World Cup-winning national female soccer team, are hardly on the “hot” side. No one whacks one out while thinking of those ladies, we suspect…

But one supreme exception is volleyball, where the players have legions of fans.

A couple of years ago we featured these chunky-thighed lasses with cute faces but we can’t resist doing it again, not least because, with the 2020 Olympics approaching, Japan is going sport-crazy right now.

They already attracted attention in 2012 when they played in London.

While most people still pine for “too pretty” national volleyball players Saori Kimura, Shiho Yoshimura (at the top of the post) and Saori Sakoda (above), we reckon the next idol is Risa Shinnabe, who plays for Hisamitsu Springs and the All-Japan team.

Sports athletes actually have their own fetish in Japan, including a porn subgenre.

Miwa Asao, the female beach volleyball player, also has a lot of male admirers, though we don’t think it’s fair to compare her with regular volleyball players. After all, Miwa competes with hardly any clothes on, so she’s bound to attract more attention!
