Despite scandals, Kamen Joshi (Masked Girls) release semi-nude swimwear photo book
Kamen Joshi have released a new semi-nude swimwear-themed photo book.
The Akihabara underground idol (chika aidoru) group famously wears hockey masks but in “Mizugi Kamen” (Swimwear Mask) there will be more flesh on display than usual.
The photo book features on the cover Anna Tachibana, Erina Kamiya (G-cup bust!) and Jun Amaki (I-cup!). The book features 105 sexy images of the girls, including semi-lesbian bed scenes.
Kamen Joshi has three sub-groups: Alice Juban, Steamgirls and Armorgirls. The Alice Project idol group is famous for being masked (their name means “masked girls”) and also for being poor. The concept behind the group is that the girls live a frugal life together.
Kamen Joshi has not been without hints of scandal. Several members have graduated in quick succession. The manager, Seiji Ikeda, apparently liked the look of two of the ladies and went after them sexually. If a member tried to leave, Ikeda charged them ¥1 million ($8,500) in contract breach.
Ikeda previously created a host club and worked as a successful host, before starting his own talent agency. Kamen Joshi recently topped the indie charts with the single “GENKIDANE”, but underneath the successful sales, what is really going on?
