New Korean fashion trend: “heart hair bangs”
We’re a bit late with this “trend” but it still give us a chuckle.
Korean women have created a new fashion meme and it’s as wacky as you’d expect.
They call it 하트 앞머리 (hateu aapmuhri) or “heart-bangs hair”.
Basically it’s make your bangs into an upside-down heart shape.
We’ve heard of wearing your heart on your sleeve. This is wearing it on your forehead.
However, some commentators have noted that the “heart” also looks like a butt (and as we know, there are some nice Korean butts out there).
Of course, the women aren’t going around with their hair like this all day, but they seem to think it’s cute to snap portraits and share them on social media, especially Instagram.
