Meet Michaela Wako Sato, an ex-idol with an insanely long tongue

Michaela Wako Sato (佐藤ミケーラ倭子) is the proud owner of probably the longest tongue in Japan, and possibly one of the longest in the world.

The 25-year-old is a former fashion model and member of idol group Idoling!!!, whose members included Ai Okawa and Rena Sato. As her name suggests, she is biracial (half Japanese, half Brazilian).

She is also very attractive, which gives her a consideration advantage when it comes to standing out among the host of other online personalities, each with their own schtick competing for clicks.

Naturally, such a long tongue has its merits — OK, we know what you’re thinking, we did too! — and Sato can do a whole bunch of fun and weird stuff with her glossal appendage, which measures a whopping 9.9 centimeters (3.8 inches). (For context, the current holder of the world record’s tongue is 10.1 centimeters.)

Other than posting videos about her tongue like those above, Sato seems to fill her days making amusing videos in which she plays multiple roles (including one where she tries to re-enact Spirited Away). Her YouTube channel has an impressive 100,000+ subscribers.
