Nao Kosaka (Hinatazaka46) debut semi-nude photo book becomes bestseller

Nao Kosaka (小坂菜緒) of Hinatazaka46 has released her debut photo book, delighting fans with semi-nude shots and achieving rapid commercial results.

Kimi wa dare? (Who Are You?) was released on June 29 and has sold quickly — 180,000 copies, according to a media report. It has already entered its second print run.

With her cute girl-next-door looks, Kosaka is incredibly popular and there was a lot of buzz about her photo book, as we first wrote about in May. But even we didn’t expect it to be such a hit with fans.

Naturally, the amount of skin she is showing is a major factor here.

She is shown naked in the bath, her modesty protected only by some floating fruit and the milky water.

In other shots, she is holding her naked chest and looking over her shoulder. If you want to see Kosakana’s naked back, you get plenty of opportunities here.

The age of adulthood in Japan is 20 but gradols start their careers much younger, posing for swimwear and lingerie shoots while still teenagers. That said, we are not sure we have encountered many recent semi-nudes by 18-year-olds.
