Meet Naomi Trauden, gorgeous German-Japanese biracial model (and political science student)
Here’s another one to add to our long list of haafu (biracial) beauties.
Around this time last year, we got excited about the comely Pamela Asahi. Who’s next?
The latest model set for major fame is Naomi Trauden (トラウデン直美), a 21-year-old from Kyoto. With a German father who taught German literature at Kyoto University and a Japanese mother, Naomi certainly has good genes.
She started modeling for CanCam at the age of 13, becoming the magazine’s youngest model in the process.
And here’s (in our opinion) the best part: she’s currently a third-year political science student at the prestigious Keio University. So you really can be smart and beautiful.
Alongside modeling (and presumably, her studies), Trauden is building a career as a newscaster.
Kei University is a cradle of intellectualism in Japan, for sure, but some of the minds its fosters are also very pretty. Alongside Trauden, recent students moonlighting as models include the delightfully curvy Serina Fukui.
