Idol of the Week: Natsuki Ikeda
Having to sort the wheat from the chaff is an occupational hazard when endeavouring to bring you guys only the finest ladies Japan has to offer, and in a saturated market it can sometimes be quite the task. There’s nothing quite like that feeling though, when you’ve been stuck wading through garbage only to stumble upon gold. Imagine my joy, then, at having almost given up on this month’s issue of GT when, lo and behold, the stunning Natsuki Ikeda plunged out of its pages into my lap.
The Kanagawa-born beauty, who will turn 24 this month, has been slowly-but-surely making a name for herself as a gravure queen for the last couple of years, best known for calendar modeling but also appearing in magazines and photo books. She has also featured in a number of DVD releases (including Taiyo no Hitomi, Morning Glory and the Young Animal series), though sadly no honest-to-goodness AVs (yet!). Still, her work thus far isn’t exactly short on sexy.
With her new DVD release Colorful just out and a host of mouth-watering galleries available via Princess Collection and scattered about the interwebs, this is one girl you should most definitely seek out more of. In the meantime, take a moment to feast your eyes on some of her choicest snaps, courtesy of yours truly. Don’t say I never did anything for you, eh?

Well, as of now, I think we got a successor to Natsuki Ikeda when it comes to gravure idols with unique beauty marks. I’m of course referring to Hiroe Igeta. For those who are Tokusatsu fans, you may recognize her as the actress who portrayed Yua Yaiba/Kamen Rider Valkyrie from Kamen Rider Zero-One.
If any of you are wondering about the position of Hiroe’s beauty mark, it’s at the same area where Natsuki’s mark is but on the other side. Regarding the successor thing, this is just my opinion. That’s all I’m going to say here.
