New adult video parodies Japanese porn law restrictions
We have written before about the massive impact the new porn law is having on the Japanese adult video industry.
But here’s a positive impact — well, kind of. It’s a good example of how the adult video industry is always quick to respond to recent events and exploit it as material for its output. And as is often the case, it does this in a parodic way.
In a new release (scheduled to come out January 20), the controversial AV law serves as the whole basis for the plot!
In the AV from Faleno Tube (1MFO00003), the premise is that the female performer has canceled at the last moment “due to the new porn law” (because it gives performers the power to back out of contracts, ostensibly to prevent the very serious issue of coercion), so the female assistant director is forced to perform in her place.
Unfortunately, the actual star is not credited, though she is meant to be a 20-year-old AD called Mari with two years of experience in the job.
In fact, the 139-minute AV features 10 supposed ADs (all uncredited), who are all forced to step in for performers who unexpectedly cancel.
Of course, it’s all fake — and we imagine there are actually very few women working as crew on porn shoots in Japan (at least, for AV that’s aimed primarily at men), though we are happy to be corrected on this point.
So kudos to the industry in Japan for turning what is generally regarded by insiders as a negative change into a source of inspiration (and, let’s be honest, mockery of both the law and the allegations of coercion). More imaginative responses like this, please.

Soft On Demand should do a parody like this but with the female characters being their female office staff instead. Don’t they already have a few of those staff who transitioned into doing AVs themselves or are those just a marketing gimmick?
@Uncle Bob
Yes, there are several AV like that which purport to show its office staff undergoing “training” or “department transfers” by performing in porn. We think it’s just a clever marketing gimmick and the stars are actually genuine performers, not recruited from the office staff.
Can you give me the name of the first girl?
@Uncle Tom
Unfortunately, as noted in the article, the performers are uncredited. But perhaps one of our expert readers recognizes her?
In my opinion, that new law on porno actors, is a stupid law.
