New Korean TV drama The Queen Who Crowns promises nude scenes
Just days after devouring the absolutely incredible sex scene by Park Ji-hyun in Hidden Face, we’re now watching the new Korean TV drama series The Queen Who Crowns.
The series on tvN and Korean streamer TVING stars Cha Joo-young, who regular readers will remember from 2023, where she made a very big impression in the Netflix series The Glory with her stunning breasts (though these were possibly enhanced by CGI).
Cha Joo-young appears in a sex scene in episode one (watch the clip here) but besides a brief glimpse of her breasts, you basically can’t see anything due to dark lighting, quick editing, camera angles, clothing, and arm positions. This is disappointing for fans, though the 34-year-old (who went to college in Utah and presumably speaks good English) does look might fine doing cowgirl slow.
Lee Yi-dam, who plays the queen’s servant, has a nude bathing scene, showing her breasts, which are quite nice. It is perhaps not insignificant that the actress with the fewer credits does the nudity.
While it’s not a shade on Queen Woo so far, The Queen Who Crowns started streaming on January 6 and only the first two episodes have come out. Another ten will come out over the next few weeks. Hopefully these will contain some decent sex scenes, since Korean period drama is known for its erotic and explicit content (see The Concubine, The Servant, A Frozen Flower, and The Treacherous).

Great to see the Queen that was promised (in a recent article) has arrived.
And yes that queen can crown me any time she wants!
