Panchira 2015 Exhibition in Tokyo a huge hit: 20,000 visitors in a week!
Proof if ever any was needed: the Japanese are all fetishists!
When we first heard about the “Panchira 2015” exhibition a few weeks ago, we didn’t think much of it.
Sure, there are lots of panchira (panty shot) events and things everywhere and anywhere these days.
Magazines, films, porn, events, even calendars… It isn’t hard to find ways to satisfy your fetish (legally) for viewing girls’ panties from under their skirts. (Of course, some people do it illegally on the train and elsewhere — and land themselves in prison!)
But this event at Photons Art Gallery in Asakusabashi turned out to be something of a phenomenon.
It was held from February 9th to February 15th. In total, 20,000 visitors went to see the artistic panchira images! That’s around 3,000 a day! There were lines of 100 people just to get in!
At the exhibition you could even enjoy lifting the skirt on a cardboard idol to get a panchira experience.

The event involved panchira fetish photographer Lewo Saito and such cosplay idols as namada. Let’s hope it returns next year… or sooner!
