Porn actor Shimiken’s “poo curry” restaurant to close
All good things must come to an end. While we’re not sure if this counts as a “good” thing, we are a little sad to report that one of the funnest stories of the year is reaching its conclusion.
Porn actor Shimiken (Ken Shimizu), who has bedded thousands of women over the course of his career, started a new enterprise earlier this year.
Nothing unusual in that — except this one was a “poo curry” restaurant, serving fecal-like dishes in toilet-shaped bowls. Quite a concept!
Located in a residential district in Setagaya ward, Tokyo, Curry Shop Shimizu has plenty of unusual features, beside the menu itself. The toilet is for women’s use only (perhaps to protect them from Shimiken?) and the restaurant recommends patrons come in clothes they “didn’t mind getting smelly”.
It will now close on January 4th for reasons unknown, perhaps practical, perhaps commercial.
After 17 years and over 7,500 porn titles to his name, Shimiken can’t be accused of getting too stuck in his ways. After this scatological culinary project, what’s next for the busiest man in AV?
