Ex-porn star Anri Sakaguchi announces marriage to transgender man
Here’s that rare thing: a happy ending.
Anri Sakaguchi was initially famous for, well, being famous. She was the daughter of an actress, and gained some celebrity at an early age, joining the entertainment world in the late 2000s.
But financial debts forced her into porn, and she debuted in 2016 for Muteki, and went on to star in several AV titles (going by the name Anri). She also did at least one nude photo shoot during this time.
After retiring from porn, Sakaguchi (whose real name is Mizue Nozawa) ran into some trouble with the law, being arrested twice: once for attempting to exhort money from a former boyfriend (a host) by threatening revenge porn, and another time for trespassing on the property of the ex-boyfriend.
It seems that after leaving porn, she’s worked as a hostess, stripper, and call girl. She officially retired from the entertainment world in December 2017, though used her fandom (surprisingly strong, despite all the ups and downs) to organize bar events in Ginza and Kabukicho.
Now aged 31, it seems that Anri Sakaguchi, long notorious for her self-destructive streak, may finally have found some happiness and stability in her life.
After telling her followers on Instagram in March that she had a new lover, she has now announced her marriage.
Her husband is mixed race (American, Japanese, Spanish, and Filipina) and a Kabukicho host (and kickboxer). He is also a “former woman,” as he describes himself on Instagram, which presumably means he is transgender. (We do not know his/their preferred pronouns.) He writes quite candidly that he is a “sao-nashi otoko” (man without a penis).
As such, we guess the happy couple won’t be starting a family, but we nonetheless wish them all the best for the future.

If they hadn’t claimed that they’re a “trans man,” I would’ve just told you they’re just a tomboy. They look like a girl with a Samantha Ronson complex.
Outside of maybe Thailand (where they REALLY know something about the topic of trans people), it’s like a lot of Asia (particularly Japan and South Korea) does a novelty take on “trans,” the same way they do Kawaii culture or other subculture trends.
It’s like they’re so often doing cutesy stuff dubbed as “trans” to pose about it for Instagram.
they both are now divorced!
here’s the proof
