Revisiting Shuri’s outdoor nude scene in Love At Least
We make no secret on this blog about the fact that we like curves. But we are also partial to Japanese women with those willowy bodies — slender waists and hips, small breasts, and delicate frames just begging to be kissed and held.
Today, we’re revisiting a nude scene from the movie Love At Least (2018) that shows off the actress Shuri (趣里, aka Shuri Mizutani), whose slim body is just like we describe above.
The mononymous star (then in her late twenties) is shown naked outdoors at night, luxuriating in the slender beauty of her body. (Why do we never stumble upon such scenes in Tokyo in real life?!)
In the film, she plays a hikikomori who has hypersomnia. She won the Japan Academy Film Prize for Newcomer of the Year for her performance. (This is a little disingenuous, because Shuri already had plenty of credits by this point, but perhaps she was taking a leaf out of Yuriko Yoshitaka’s book: go nude to make a splash, and then settle in for a more mainstream career.)
Love At Least, which is available on Netflix, also stars Shizuka Ishibashi (whose nude photo shoot earlier this year was an attempt to forge another avenue in her career) and Riisa Naka.
