Singer and actor Koki Tanaka accused of sending masturbation videos
The trial of former KAT-TUN member Koki Tanaka over possession of drugs has now begun in Nagoya. The 36-year-old musician and actor, who was a member of the boy band until 2013 and then a solo artist, has admitted the charge of methamphetamine possession.
Nagoya police arrested in February this year. It follows his previous brush with the law in 2017, when he was charged with marijuana possession.
But there’s another “crime” that the Weekly Bunshun uncovered (in an article first published in February this year).
Tanaka was apparently affected mentally by the pandemic and being unable to go out. Stuck at his family home in Chiba, he would make YouTube videos during the day for his fans, and then private videos of himself at night and send them to people.
His former girlfriend told the Weekly Bunshun about being on the receiving end of this habit.
His arrest furthered his isolation. He would send photos of his muscles to everyone to show off the results of his training program.
The unnamed girlfriend claims he also sent her “vast numbers of videos” of himself masturbating. These came out of the blue, without warning. She wasn’t sure how to respond, so chose to ignore them. “Then a new video arrived a few days later.”
The magazine claims to have seen the videos with Tanaka’s face frozen in pleasure as he masturbates. It says the video show his tattoo on his groin.
Other than the girlfriend interviewed by the magazine, Tanaka reportedly sent the videos to numerous women.
