Taiwanese porn parody of Squid Game causes a stir
We normally find ourselves writing with glee about Japanese adult video’s penchant for parody, in which the industry often reacts very quickly to events and cultural phenomena with pastiche porn par excellence.
But this time, JAV was beaten to the punch by porn makers in Taiwan.
Netflix’s Korean hit Squid Game, whose sex scenes we have written about, has now inspired a porn rip-off on the East Asian island nation.
Details are slim, though news about the upcoming porn release is spreading online for the past week or so. With the original drama’s themes of punishment and torture, it’s ripe for BDSM and humiliation/shame fetish porn. That said, the pictures make the production values look pretty cheap, though we will withhold full judgment until we have seen the whole thing. In the name of research, natch!
Hold on, it seems we unfairly maligned our Japanese porn peers: there is already a Japanese porn parody of Squid Game, called (inevitably) Squirt Game.
Well, kind of. The information online is a bit muddled but at least one of the videos claimed to be a parody of the Netflix show is actually an older AV release (possibly SDDE-439) that was recently repurposed by netizens to cash in on the buzz and attract clicks to porn sites like Spank Bang. Does this mean that JAV anticipated Squid Game?
Given JAV’s precedent for parody, we look forward to the full Squid Game send-up that is surely in the planning stages in a production company’s office somewhere.

1) First of all, it’s old news, the Taiwanese porn movie is actually a series of multiple episodes. 2 episodes are already up on the producer’s site, LOVE6.TV.
2) The Japanese one is just a fake poster, been confirmed as fake
3) Just watch the trailers on the original site. They also reached Reddit. I wouldn’t call it low-budget, it actually looks pretty nicely filmed, the sets used look like the originals, the costumes are fine etc.

We can’t say anything in detail about the Taiwanese production. The screen grabs make it look a bit cheap but things do indeed look much nicer in the trailer. Thanks for sharing.
We know the Japanese poster is fake (sorry, should have made that clearer). As we mentioned, netizens have been “repurposing” a much older production into a Squid Game parody after someone found a JAV with a similar premise (though there are, as you must know, countless JAV productions with similar premises).
