Tenga Egg vending machine spotted in Nakano Broadway, Tokyo
Tenga has a habit of turning up in unusual places.
From the garbage on a beach to a Buddhist temple, a business card holder, and even once in the home of comedian Tomonori Jinnai when accidentally shown on a TV show.
Back in 2012 some people stumbled upon this Tenga Egg vending machine in Nakano Broadway, west Tokyo.
It’s a gacha-gacha capsule vending machine, which makes sense for the Tenga Egg. You get a single Tenga Egg for ¥500 and if you are lucky enough to get a ticket in your capsule, you can take it inside to the shop to claim a porn DVD.
We don’t think this is officially endorsed by Tenga but we suspect they would approve, given the company’s love of fun marketing stunts.
Sorry, we don’t know if the vending machine is still there but hope to head to Nakano soon to check!
Of course, Japan is the land of vending machines and they come in all shapes and sizes. They also sell all manner of things, from drinks to food, toys, newspapers and more. This includes adult products. There are porn DVD vending machines (even in the countryside!), used underwear vending machines, chilled panties vending machines, and even prostitutes.
So of course there are Tenga Egg vending machines!
