Top Japanese porn star Yua Mikami announces new NFT project
A few months ago, we reported on the exciting news that shibari rope bondage master Hajime Kinoko was creating and selling an augmented reality art installation as an NFT.
Well, the NFT boom shows no signs of abating just yet, and others are jumping on the bandwagon.
And by others, we mean none other than top Japanese porn star Yua Mikami, who has announced a new project: your NFT.
To mark her twenty-eighth birthday, August 16, Yua has collaborated with famed Japanese art director Gugi Akiyama and photographer Yasunari Kikuma to take a special photograph.
She will then sell 28 images of the photograph(s) as NFTs by online auction.
The project website is set to go online on September 24 and the online auction for the NFTs takes place from October 1 to October 8.
This is just the first stage of the project and the next NFTs will apparently see Yua work with a renowned creative to produce a new work.
Though she remains committed to her career in the adult industry, Yua Mikami continues to branch out of JAV. Her other sidelines include a lingerie brand and a K-pop idol group.
