Happy Valentine’s Day from Japan
It’s snowing in Tokyo right now, making for a very chilly Valentine’s Day.
Unlike the west, February 14th in Japan is the day for the ladies to give chocolate or gifts to the guys, who then reciprocate on March 14th (“White Day”).
Either way, it’s a day when the love hotels are always fully booked — especially because this year it falls on a Friday — so getting your Valentine’s Day treat requires some planning if you don’t want to be disappointed.
Popular dates include a trip to Tokyo Tower, an aquarium (lots of dark corners for snuggling), going to see a movie (not as obvious as it sounds, since trips to the cinema are more expensive in Japan than America), or an expensive meal at a restaurant.
The truth is most guys don’t want chocolate or something sweet on February 14th. What they want is for girls to get as dirty as they can with them in bed. So here’s our tip — be as selfish as you like tonight. You might just get what you really want.
And for all those guys spending it alone tonight, there’s always KanojoToys to help make you enjoy your own company.
