Ai no Uzu (Love’s Whirlpool): new film portrays sex party in Kabukicho, nude scenes from Mugi Kadowaki
A new film is about to be released that promises, so its marketers say, to have only 18 minutes of clothed scenes in its 123-minute running time.
Ai no Uzu (Love’s Whirlpool) is written and directed by Daisuke Miura, adapted from his award-winning 2006 play that won him the top drama prize in Japan and has since been performed in Europe.
It depicts a Kabukicho sex club where singletons and couples gather to share their bodies. Miura is no stranger to visiting such establishments himself, so the rumors have it, so no doubt the portrayal is realistic.
The play and film are less about sex than about the characters of the people who gather at the swinger club (happening bar), and the relationships that arise between them. Men pay 20,000 yen; women just 1,000. Then the fun starts.
The participants in the orgy include two students, a virgin, a regular customer, a salaryman, a nursery school teacher and more!
The movie goes on release from March, 2014.
Note that the film starts up-and-coming star Mugi Kadowaki and more established actress Yoko Mitsuya.
Yoko is one of our all-time favs and not averse to shedding her clothes anyway. We are looking forward to this new opportunity to gazing at her flesh.
That being said, some of the best nude shots in the film feature the lesser-known actress Eriko Nakamura.
