AKB48’s Yuiri Murayama seen with man and schoolgirl cosplay costume

Paparazzi snaps of an idol with her boyfriend? No big deal, this is the usual kind of fodder that always fills the pages of the weeklies, right?

But this time, there’s an amusing, possibly kinky, catch.

Reporters snapped AKB48 member Yuiri Murayama entering the condo of fellow AKB idol Nana Okada for the latter’s birthday party late at night on November 6.

The 25-year-old was with a man who many assume is her boyfriend.

Netizens peered hard — very hard — at the box in the bag that Murayama’s putative partner is carrying. And they think they’ve identified it.

It just might well be a schoolgirl costume. So the implication is that Murayama and her partner were going to have a fun night doing some schoolgirl role plays.

Apparently, according to Bunshun’s article, Murayama and the man went to Don Quijote, the store chain famed for its costumes — including many clearly aimed at adults.

So, who was going to wear the costume? Murayama or Okada? Or did Murayama and her partner save that fun until later — when they were alone?!

Update (November 24): Now Nana Okada has been forced to apologize and announce her graduation from AKB48 for the crime of having a boyfriend (as recently widely reported in the media).
