Former AKB48 idol Ayano Umeta strips off (as Ayano Shimizu)
The former AKB48 idol Ayano Umeta has gone semi-nude for a eye-catching and provocative shoot that really shows off her bust.
In the resulting photo featured in the current issue of Weekly Playboy, which is now delighting netizens, 20-year-old Ayano seems to be wearing no panties as she leans out of a bath, her shirt dripping wet as it clings to her alluring body.
That body is surprisingly busty for her young age and petite figure.
Umeta left AKB48 in March 2017 after joining the group in 2011, since when she has changed her professional name to Ayano Shimizu (清水綾乃) and tried to establish herself as an actress.
Several former AKB group idols have resorted to such nude or semi-nude tactics in an effort to launch post-graduation careers.
Recent examples include Nana Owada, Ayaka Umeda, Rina Hirata, Seira Miyazawa, and Maho Yamaguchi. Others like Natsumi Hirajima and Machiko Tezuka have gone further in gravure shoots and shed all their clothes for the camera — and then there are the ones who make the full switch over to adult video.
Only a small number of former AKB idols like Atsuko Maeda have built up genuine careers as actors.
Where will Ayano Shimizu’s career end up? She is releasing her first DVD later this week, so its sales may well prove decisive.
